YPA Teacher Volunteers will be responsible for educating and supervising students at all levels on a virtual class platform on a regular schedule. This will largely include creating lesson plans and assignments, documenting student progress, and communicating with parents as needed. Teacher Volunteers must be willing to be virtually at minimum once a week at a time TBD and participate in field trips/fellowships or school outings as availability permits.
YPA Substitute Teachers will be responsible for teaching and supervising students in the event that a regular YPA teacher volunteer is unable to lead class. This is an on call position and requires a commitment to an on call schedule. Teaching subjects will largely include HomeZoom, Bible, Music, HelpMeet, Head of Household, Intro to Hebrew. Lesson Plans to be provided.
The Budget Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the YPA school budget. This position works to ensure that all financial resources are allocated effectively and that YPA stays within its fiscal goals. The Budget Analyst will prepare financial reports, perform data analysis, and provide recommendations for improving financial processes
The IT administrator is responsible for managing the YPA’s technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of all IT systems, and providing support to faculty, staff, and students. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the educational experience through effective use of technology.
This Grant specialist will oversee the grant application process, from identifying potential funding opportunities to writing proposals and ensuring the effective management and reporting of awarded funds.
The International Liaison will assist with event coordination and logistics of the YPA community abroad, identify resources to support events abroad and generate ideas and concepts for event inclusion of international students. Must have great communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
The School Counselor plays a critical role in supporting the social and emotional development of students. This position involves providing direct counseling services, delivering guidance lessons, collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents, and contributing to the overall well-being of the school community. The counselor works with students to foster healthy relationships, resilience, and positive behaviors.
