Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At Yasharala Preparatory Academy, we have three programs serving K-12. We seek to build on a spiritual foundation in all things while focusing on individual student needs and interest through a virtual and collaborative platform to engage and challenge our students. We are founded on pre-Constantine Christians beliefs believing in God (The Most High), his son (Christ) and the Holy Spirit. Throughout our classes, we use the ancient Hebrew name for the Most High God (Ahayah) and Christ (Yashaya).
Our students meet every day in the morning and afternoon for HomeZoom to connect and socialize in a virtual environment. On select days we offer virtual curated curriculum to enrich and supplement students homeschool experience, while coordinating monthly in person events, field trips and fellowships.
Unfortunately, not at this time; because we are a homeschool group and not a school, it is the parent's responsibility to ensure their child receives regular and thorough instruction. However, YPA parents that live in close proximity, often meet up throughout the day to allow their children to learn and play together in a group setting.
First check out the homeschool resources link for your state. Most states don't regulate where your curriculum comes from, so no, you don't have to live in Maryland to participate in YPA's virtual learning and we'd love to help coordinate simultaneous field trips and fellowships in your state.
Yes. We just ask for a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Please send an email to EzerdahRM@yasharalaprep.org and let us know of your intentions to enroll and your desired start date.
